Baos
Just thought this was a nice video. The guy couldn't figure out what was wreaking his tank. Apparently these only come out for about an hour in the morning.
Vallisneria
Sick! What were they doing to his tank? What are they?
Wingin' It
Those are nasty...I'd be so creeped out about my tanks if those were in there!
werner
Sounds like a type of Annelid worm: "...the tubificids stand on their heads to swallow organic detritus and digest its microflora, while they wave their rear segments in the open water and get their oxygen by simple diffusion." -from The Skeptical Aquarist Just wondering how they're wrecking the tank? Has he got fish in there? Those are nasty...I'd be so creeped out about my tanks if those were in there! You'd be surprised what's in planted tanks! Qattarra
That's awesome ! It's so fascinating what creatures we get to observe and keep. How are they any different than the ones we chose to put into our tanks?

pagani
You'd be surprised what's in planted tanks! Ain't that the truth when I took mine down the sand was crawling with little red worms about 1.5" in length.
Baos
He had fish in there and tried finding a proper preditor but the worms were too fast for them. He ended up tearing down the tank and starting over. Can't remember exactly where I read about it.

Baos
I found the original thread http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumap...-tank-film.html turns out they're blackworms and I'd love to have them in my tank!
