JHG
I recently brought back some Syndo cats from Ontario that were sold as African Lace Catfish. By observation it appears I have a mixture of Synodontis nigrita and Synodontis nigriventris, as per www.planetcatfish.com. I'm more familiar with the catfish of South America then Africa so I could easily be corrected. Anyone else keeping these species? What other Syndo cats do people here keep? J PS: I'll try and take a few photos and post them by the weekend.
African_Fever
I've got a group of 11 S. petricola's. From what I've been told I have an adult pair of 'true' petricola's, and the rest are all the petricola 'dwarf'. They're breeding now, so I couldn't be happier with them! Also have a group of 6 young multi's that I love as well.
birger
For syno's I currently have: Group of petricola(dwarf) group of multi's four ocellifer Four shoutedeni five angelicus group of nigriventris group of Microsynodontis sp.nigeria Last two are current breeding projects, may never happen but definately a challenge. Angelicus are not quite big enough to wreak havoc, yet. Ocellifer love to dig and surprisingly keep the angelicus in check,so far. Tangies are most active during the day.
