Just_Relaxin
My tropheus kirizas that I got from punman are acting odd. They are pale in the face ( not black like they should be) and hanging out at the top of the tank. My ph is 8, temp is 78, amonia nitrate and nitrite are all 0 ppm. clown loaches and plecos are all acting normal any ideas. oh and there is lots of water movement, so oxygen levels should be good. Wingin' It
I know you said oxygen levels should be good, but do you actually have either surface agitation and/or bubble bar/air stone in the tank?
Noodles
Maybe join Trophs.com and post your question there, you would get alot of good advice from them. Watch for White stringy poo and or bloating, probably bloat. Edited June 6, 2010 by Noodles

Ishkabod
Are they at the top and not breathing hard? If so the only thing i can think of is they are being stressed by another inhabitant of the tank. Watch them for a while and check out how the pecking order goes durring feeding. Be watchful of bloat and other synptoms of disease. This is all i can think of based on your information. Hope this might help but Trophs.com might be a better bet for more information. Good luck L
