thefishdude Posted June 15, 2005 Report Share Posted June 15, 2005 I've just ventured into Pool Filter Sand - It's light colored, uniform grain size, easy to rinse and cheap A $11 - 50lb bag did my 55 gal tank nicely. I'm planning a green spotted puffer tank maybe figure eight so it's a possible brackish to full marine idea,and I heard this may not be a good idea(?) is silica sand ok in a fish only marine tank or FOWLR?
