DanGofCalgary
Just read up on those fish. Typical spawn is 5-20, so I'd say you have an exception there, and a valid one. Sorry, should have read up on it before replying on that specific fish, but I have left my reply as is, because it applies nicely to a general range. vince0
Also to add to waht dan says, to make your case if you have less then 10, its helps to have both males and females lol

Dan Thank you sir -- but wigglers croaked anyhow the mesh in their compartment was to big and the other fry picked them off, hopefully I will get another few cracks at them. DanGofCalgary
That's too bad. They are very pretty little fish. Hopefully you will have better success with them on the next spawn.
fishclubgirl
So my very proven pair of angels spawned last weekend and I figured this is an easy 10 points. As I've bred angels many times, piece of cake right?? Noo.... something wasn't right and no fry. In the meantime, I'm "fishsitting" the mr. fishclubgirl's tanks and I pull 2 angelfish spawns the same day as my fish spawned.I thought I'd used too much methylene blue on his fish(I use a different antifungal on my fish as I"m done with blue fingers) but yup, he has fry.. from both spawns.... :pff: We will be having a "chat" about this...
