As long as you use 100% silicon and it doesn't contain any mold or mildew inhibitors, you're good to go. I believe Nature's Corner carries black silicon in their pond section, at least it comes in their pond kits.

I have found a greatdeal on aquarium silicone. Have been using for a few years. It is sold at Home Hardware. You get 3 300 ml tubes for $10.99. The tube is with a turquoise color on the front - WEATHER SHIELD - BEST- 35 YEAR DURABILITY - INTERIOR/EXTERIOR - SILICONE- WATER PROOF SEAL - SAFE FOR AQUARIUMS - 2031-205. Hope this helps .
