I have read that this is very contageous and my question is do I treat all 18 tanks? will this kill all the assassin snails and shrimp also? angel al Posted February 28, 2012 Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 I wouldn't panic treating all your tanks but I would start by treating every tank that fish has been in. I'm not sure about your shrimp & snails because I've never tried treating in a tank that contained either. My bet is the snails would survive though. heatherw2 Posted March 1, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 I justs started to treat three tanks this afternoon to see how it goes and tomorrow will treat some more but the assassin snails are all coming to the top and there must be a hungred or more so they are obviously not liking it, Can I take them out and put them somewhere else or do they need to go through the treatment also.
