JORG
I was out of town working for a week. Returned last nite and checked the tanks and everything looked good, didn't notice anything missing. They seemed a little hungrier than usual thou. Serenity
Lucky. I leave for a weekend and come back to find something unusual or a bloom of something
cainechow
Hungrier than usual is way better than over fed and cloudy water or black water (happened to my dad with his koi tank) any day
jvision
I have found that any tank that is healthy will easily last a week w/o attention. The only time I call someone to look in on my tanks is if my vacation will be longer than 10days. Even if I have fry, a weekend isn't too long Togo w/o feeding. A well established tank will have enough grubblies growing in there to see them thru a few days.
Jayba
Yip, unless they are fry with nothing to scrounge up most fish will be ok. Female mouth brooders go 3 weeks without food regularly. Amazed they don't eat their kids after they spit them out. Lol
