jeremoose
I am picking up a breeding trio of BN's this weekend and was wondering if anyone has experimented with breeding Cherry's and BN's in the same tank? Would be a 20g or 30g heavily planted. Thanks.
Vallisneria
My BN plecos weren't breeding but I kept them in with my cherry shrimp colony and they got along fine. The cherry shrimp bred like rabbits and I never saw any issues with the plecos. It should be fine, especially in a 20-30g planted tank. rayfong
I have no problems with keeping bristlenose plecos and shrimp together. I have a breeding pair of bristlenose plecos with orange shrimp, another breeding pair of bristlenose plecos in with orange shrimp and a third pair (not breeding) in with yellow shrimp and OEBT's. You just have to watch sometimes the pleco will hog the whole wafer of food that I drop in for the shrimp.
jvision
I added a few CS to my BN breeding tanks to help w. leftover food b/c I feed quite heavily. It's not long before I have 50 or so BNs and 100s of CS!!

I added a few CS to my BN breeding tanks to help w. leftover food b/c I feed quite heavily. It's not long before I have 50 or so BNs and 100s of CS!! And this is EXACTLY what I'm hoping for.
