African_Fever
Looks like a grab bag hybrid mbuna to me. As for dithers, I've had very good results so far with Australian rainbows in with my WC mbuna. The mbuna were pretty skittish whenever anyone besides me came around, and ever since I've added the rainbows, the cichlids are out all the time and never really hide. dunl
I would say definate hybrid, but no reason to get rid of it if you aren't planning on breeding and enjoy having it. Rainbows are a good, tough dither. Clown loaches are pretty good too, always zooming around the tank.
Richer
Thanks. I always figured it was a hybrid of some sort... it did come from an "assorted" tank at PJs after all. However, its one of the older fish in the house, and I don't plan on breeding, or selling any of the fry, so its not going to go anywhere I like clown loaches, but I think my tank would be a bit small for a group after they've grown up a bit. I think I will stick with Neil's suggestion and start looking around for a group of aceis. Anyone know where I can get a group of these? Thanks for the help and suggestsions. -Rich Edited September 23, 2005 by Richer
