blink
Aqueon Pro from Big Al's or online or Petsmart has black plastic heaters that look very very similar to the Aqueon Pro for quite a bit less ($27-35 IIRC)
jumpsmasher
I are quite happy with the ViaAqua Titanium heaters i been using. They come with an external temperate controller / sensor and a titanium heating rod. They cost around $50 at Pets and Ponds.
FunkSolid
The Aqueons are nice because they come with a plastic bumper on the end of the heater, so between that and the suction cups/mounting device, your not gonna get that destructive glass on glass contact. They also have lifetime warranties on their heaters, so hopefully you can buy just one, and they are available everywhere.
