RD.
Don't get me wrong, I was simply pointing out that there is no need to buy deformed fish from the LFS, and as previously mentioned any seller worth their salt would have culled those fish long before they passed them onto a LFS. Just got back from a trip to Golds today, their current stock of Africans is amazing, and many of the best recently imported stock were already long gone, or on hold for someone. The Ngara Flametails were top notch, and as always their prices are about the best you will find in Western Canada.
Vallisneria
Good quality flametails certainly aren't scarce, You can find really nice F1 Ngara flame tail peacocks in edomonton. I believe Sammy usually has fry from his wild caughts. At the ACE meeting there is usually a bag of F1 fry in the raffles. Make sure you ask around before you buy anything from big al's. Someone locally usually has what yo uare looking for.
