TroyGrey
O.k. I think I have decided on a size (46 1/2"w x 18"d x 16"h) =58 g And I've figured out the construction method I'm going to use. (1/4" glass,Frameless,etc.)- glass seems thin but that's what all the sites say. Can't afford thicker anyways But I'm not quite sure how to go about with the top bracing, Has anyone built a tank on this forum? Can you post some pictures of your top bracing? Thank you so much

fatpuffer
Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a 48 x 18 x 16 (60 gallon) tank already made? Don't know if anybody sells the dimension but you can shop around. Ask albert...he may know more about it. Jonah
TroyGrey
I've been pricing, WOW!!! In Saskatchewan these tanks are not cheap (Over $400.00) I Can build one for less than 1/2. And finding used?....Forget about it.
African_Fever
At that price it'd be worth your while to drive to Calgary yourself for the tank (if shipping isn't available).

trixie
put a 5" wide pice of glass in the center inside level with the top. Why not go for 48" then a light will fit beter. Look in google,ca for building aquarium.
