rudy
Walked into golds to get my Peacock....peacock was doa according to Dennis. All they had was a plain old mantis. Good part is that the plain old mantis is actually a Gonodactylus smithii. Big bastard as well. Why is that cool you ask? Smithii are rarely offered in the hobby they are usually found as pests in reef tanks.... Cool as hell now I have two smithiis.

rudy
Still no pics of the smithii. He is a bit shy, but update on the wennerae. He is living in the same rock as the smithii. He is not dead thank god.
Molino
He is living in the same rock as the smithii. Do Mantis' get along fairly well in the same tank or is it hit or miss? Have you got plans to try and breed any of yours? Cheers!
rudy
Molino, No they do not get along maybe in larger tanks they will coexist but not get along. If the smithii cathes the wennerae or if either molt the one will be dead
