seajays Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 (edited) Check to see if the hoses are pulling too tight on the top part that you clamp down. Also pull out the top outer "O" out ring that goes around the outside of the top. Give it a message and put it back in. I had both of these leaks. rudy Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 Very common I have found. I have had 5 and had 2 do it. It usually leaks from the top where the powercords comes out. They say the cause is the hoses are to short or pulling on the top quick connect. Might find some info here.http://www.planetrena.com/ It was leaking from the power cord, I put new seals, hoses & still leaked. luckily I got my $75 & was accused of "doing something to it" :eh: , who knows what people are thinking, anyways thanks for the replies on trying to fix it. FishManTy Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 That oring that they have on the lid, as to be perfectly clean. All sand, crap, anything, has to be whipped off. The place it goes in, on the bottom and the lid, would have to be completely cleaned aswell. Mine leaked from the cord, also, about 5 gallons of saltwater everywhere.
