Madness
The green water is basically free floating algae in the tank, and being too close to the window is definetly a contributing factor. Excess nutrients in the water would most likely be the other half of the cause, possibly from feeding too much, or not enough partial water changes. I would definetly move the tank to somewhere that it is not getting direct sunlight, and probably cut back on the amount of time that the tank's lights are on until the green goes away. Oxquo
green water? save some for a nice daphnia culture. they'll clean it up. For fry especially the little guys, I have seen good green water sell for $14.00 a 1l on aquabid.

prodogg02
hi green water gone used finer filter media and switched to NLS thera A pellets from flake, think the combo of to much sunlight and to much uneatin flake food was causing the green water.
