I keep my breeding pair of angels in a 25 gallon by them selves as they are really nasty when they spawn. the rest of my angels are in various community tanks. As for water perameters 78 to 85 degrees f and dechlorinated tap water. One note of warning though, they are cichlids and will eat other fish if they are small enough to fit in their mouths. I'm running 3 of the xp3 filters and have no complaints.

There is no specific type of glass needed, when I cover drilled holes I just use a piece of leftover glass that's larger than the hole.

A friend that works in the hvac industry gave me a couple of gallons a few years ago.

First time I've heard of that. It's used for cleaning ice makers in hotels and stuff.

I use Calgon Ice Machine cleaner for cleaning mineral deposits. It is cocnentrated phosphoric acid and has a non toxic residue.

I find it works better for fry and grow out tanks to keep them clean. I have not found any issues with this unless you are trying to breed certain fish.

NLS Thera is a good source of garlic for your fish, I give it to my discus a couple of times a week as a preventative measure
