Okay I didn't want to read that, how terrible... I brought home a monster... He is in with my darn cichlids... and I can not move him because my smaller tank has smaller fish... So anyone want a cat fish? Lana Cool fish. It's too bad your not closer to calgary or I would take it for sure.

You can get the rapheal cat at Riverfront or Franco's.

Golds is the cheepest, but I don't normally go there. Elite has quility fish and customer service that is unparalleled. Colby rocks! Francos also has good quality and Linda knows her stuff.

When I was there on Monday the construction guys said it would be about 2 weeks. :rofl:

Welcome to the forum. I wouldn't put him with the big guys , he'll most likely get smoked. Do you have pics of your 20 gal?

I feed mine krill, mysis shrimp, blood worms and silver sides. They were not interested at fist but now eat voraciously, be patient and they may develop in interest.

Cool, so far after just a couple of days my rays are eating and swimming more. I lost 4 of 5 geo's.(f*#k) The other 1 geo seem to be doing better. :thumbs:

I had some Geo's in my ray tank. Some how they got ich. My water conditions are perfect ! My ray's seem to be acting strang. They are quite slugish and my female shakes like she is ichy or something? Can they get ich and what should I do? I know prevention is the best medicine but what now? I moved the Geo's into a Q tank and i am treating them. I know I can't use the same med. Some good advise would come in really handy. Thanx

Just wanting to say hello. I'm new to the forum and relatively new to the hobby (4-5 mounths in). I already 8 tanks up and running well. I look forward to learning more and finding more awsome fish and tips. I seem to be doing this right so far. My cichlid community, ray's and oddballs are all happy and heathy. :thumbs:

I've got Geo's surinamensis , satanoperca Daemons a highfin lepard plec and a chameleon whiptail. They do a great job and get along well. They are in with my 2 motoros.

Nice rays. I'm new to the forum but love rays and have two motoro's myself. Do you ever get henli or leos?
