are there any circumstances when beta fish are grown up as fry together, that they can stay together in a huge tank? I have a friend that wonders if this is possible if done right? I told her NO!.......but I have so much to learn in the fish world....you never know. Any possibily of having a school of beta? Assuming not, then what size/age are the fry when they should be seperated?

I have decided to keep the guppies in their own 30 gal. sooooo I'll do another post in the livestock classifieds for more tetra's etc.

hi there, i have a community tank of congo tetra's (6), 3 killifish, 4 cories, 2 red rams (quite peaceful). I am thinking of putting my male guppies in with them and using the male only tank i have running for more fry. would male guppies do just fine in with these guys? the tank is very peaceful. just looking for thoughts to confirm or disprove this idea.

the zoo in question is the little private zoo in three hills right? not the calgary zoo? we have been to the Guzoo at Three Hills. Kids had a great time! There is room out there if the funds come up for a fish room!! lol

instead of hatchetfish i went with golden wonder killi's for the top layer. they are a nice, bright yellow compliment to my rams and tetra's./.....

that is a great idea. i have red rams, gbr's, and tetra's in my community tank. i love them in there, just delightful fish. robin
