  2. Great photos. I've seen lots as roadkill but never one alive. Very coool.
  3. Yes, i did see the fish in the pictures. I was just wondering if it was going to be kept alone or if you were going to find a mate.
  4. Nice looking rock. What are your stocking plans for the new rock scape?
  5. I'm referring to the one at 23sec into the video.
  6. Cool video. I really like that sword, what is it?
  7. Awesome shots. I love the blue spots in the ram's fins. That zebra pleco is very cool as well.
  8. Very cool! That looks like it has lots of potential. What kind of stock do you have in it? Any major plans?
  9. 1. Planted tanks are amazing and can be as easy or challenging as you want. You can have basic plants or at ferts and co2 and have a crazy underwater garden with shrimp and snails all over the place. Then you could have a school of tetras and cories swimming around a couple centre piece paired rainbows. Or give your hand a try at discus. 2. You could do a cichlid tank with white sand, structures built from rock with vals or other plants staggered in, on, and around. Cichlids give you all the colors and personalities you could want. All male peacock tanks are very sweet as well. 3. You could build your tank to centre around 1 fish, say a black ghost knife or 3-4 silver dollars and then put tankmates in that work. Or you could try puffers and make a brackish tank like you suggested. Might be jumping in over your head and need to ask alot of questions as you go but thats what this hobby is all about and you can always get help from forums like this or others. You can do so many different things with your tank, half the time you'll get it just to where you want it and then completely change it.

in my opinion with your 2 bulb set-up you should be running 1- 10k bulb and 1 - 6.5k/8k bulb. anything higher than that is meant for reefers. 10k gives you a nice pure white and the 6.5k or 8k brings in the yellows. You could even run 2 - 10k if you wanted to.
  11. Congrats on the new batch of fry. Did the couple make it from previous batch?
  12. Awesome fish! One day hopefully I'll get some.
  13. Congrats on the fry. If you go to sell them I would definetly come up and take up to 10 of them off your hands. I haven't been able to find any down in my area for a long time. I love them and want to set up a species tank of them.
  14. Great looking fish. Too bad that he can't stay up top yet.
  15. Great looking fish and tank. Personally I would add some sand, a background, and maybe some driftwood or plants but thats just me.
  16. Always something new to learn in this hobby. I just thought that because silver dollars were considered a peaceful fish the more aggresive fish would pick on them.
  17. Great looking tank. Your silver dollars don't get picked on at all?
  18. Great looking fish. That EBJD is sweet.
