I think you need a large tank they get up to 6 inches and are very aggressive.

I think the rainbows would get all the food before the discus in which case feed the discus separate some how.

Go buy 3 or 4 blue 5gallon pails or water storage containers from canadian tire (20liter) and siphon and save clean water ditch the rest top uyp with prime and freshwater save filter and water.

I have been getting it off and on for awhile but today tried a new method of picking it out of tank.Take 7 small pipe cleaners soft velvety kind.Twist them tightly all together and spread the end like an octopus but uneven . Use while raking plants and spin got rid of it all in m inutes 95%.Works great.

Use hydrogen peroxide instead.

How about some wild African butterfly cichlids , Kribs and Blockheads and Congo tetras sometime( with the next African order.I don't want mature prefer small but it's not absolute.

I haven't grown insuforia but have heard its tricky to warm they die too cold they wont grow.

O ring gaskets will leak after a year a guy in the local CAS has a bunch in his basement he no longer uses

Talk too Dave Edmonston with the local CAS he has a bunch in his basement the gaskets don't last and leak after a year he tried adding gel to the o ring gaskets still leaks.
