DIY tank divider

:) i have seen mulitudes of dividers on the net, such as..

but what i would do and prob is the cheepiest.. go to wal-mart or a craft store.. get some nedele work backing and go to a store like staples get 2 plastic folder side strips.. then

Place plastic channel against glass, below frame of aquarium

Spread stainless steel clip over frame of aquarium until it holds the channel firmly against the glass

Repeat by clipping other channel against glass on opposite side of aquarium

Slide plastic "Flo-Through" plate into position in .. poof one cheep good looking divider.. at 1/3 the cost

I do the same thing. Eggcrate w. clear tubing at the sides. I don't have the suction cups, tho - I found that if it's the right fit, I can wedge it in the tank, no prob. BTW, none of the tanks I use the dividers on have a top rim.

I used to use a u/g filter panel for a divider.
