FishManTy
Online Bargain finder (buysell.com) gets updated every monday, with items that were in the paper since Thursday, incase you didn't know. Thast 4 days that people would have been looking, and the chances of finding the good deal items would be slim, cause they'd already mostly be gone. If you want you best chance of finding good items, just got buy the paper (3.25) or something like that, on thursday morning. That way you can be one of the first to get dibs on items. Thats what I do when Im really searching for something.
cichlidkid
i always bike up to the sev. every thursday and look through the bargain finder, not buy the paper but read :ph43r: once they even made my buy it after 5 minuts of looking though it
FishManTy
If you are still looking for glass, Riverfront aquarium can get DIY aquariums if you get them your dimensions. Im sure most places can get in a do it yourself aquarium. You know a tank of those dimensions are gonna weigh alot.. so bringing into school would be quite difficult. cichlidkid
I called rivrfront and they said they have no such thing. hey rahim how cheap can your contact get glass?
Just_Relaxin
If you want glass DO NOT use old or used glass unless it is in perfect shape. Little tiny scratches make it very difficult to cut. and if the scratches are deep enough and you succesfully build a tank it could blow out. jason :guns:
Rainmaker69
I picked up a 72" X 24" piece of 3/8" non tempered from my local glass shop, $130. Plan to make a plywood and glass tank soon as the weather smartens up.
cichlidkid
where did you go?
Smokey
cichlidkid - He said his local glass shop. The price is standard retail. If you want a free-be, keep on looking. I am sure you may find something. HTH Smokey
Garhan
You might find it easier also to get your hands on smaller and thinner glass. In that case you would need to build a smaller tank, and you would likely still get the same credits from school. Garhan
dunl
Something to think about is selling one of these, and having it leak or blow out on someone.....you wouldn't want to be sued about it, seeing as you are the manufactuer....
