Albertan Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 Yeah they are hybrids originally bred in Asia. To this day, no one is sure what they were derived from for sure. Most suspect severums and, in the case of blood parrots, red devils. Fugly fish IMO but based on their appearance regularly in pet shops and their price many people think otherwise.
