Slough Shark
I heard you can buy alot of this stuff for cheap. Anyone know how much for a 50 lb bag? I am also unsure of what store would carry this, I tried Canadian Tire and they didn't have any, would RONA or Home Depot or even Wally mart have any? Thanks in Advance Taylor
Vallisneria
I believe rona carries or else it was homedepot. Its like around 5$ a bag.

Slough Shark
Great, I'll give them each a call and see who has some. Thanks for the help!
jvision
Go to HD. Rona carries Burnco Playsand which is a lot cloudier. I prefer Target Playsand much more.
CalgaryFan
The target playsand goes for about 5.00 for a 50lb bag, just make sure it's washed real good, took forever to settle the first time I used it haha, other than that it's great stuff. Sam Chicklets
I'll take whatever is there really, I also heard you can use sand blasting sand too? Yes as long as it is new and silica blasting sand not the slag. It also comes in various sizes of granuals.
Fishful Thinking
A Target Playsand 25 kg bag is $5.77 plus tax at Totem. I picked some up today. I washed it really good a couple of times and it went in without clouding the water at all.
Stacey
I also highly recommend the target playsand! One tank down, three to go! Each bucket rinsed only 4 times....... no clouding! And I now have a FISHROOM!!!
