Pufferpack
Hi folks. Don't know if I know any of you from other forums, but for those I haven't met yet I guess I should tell you a little about myself. I have only been keeping fish for a couple years now. We started out buying a 10 gal tank for my wife for Christmas and made all the classic "newbie" mistakes (had 23 fish in the tank by Dec 27th). After discovering the wonderful forums on the net and doing a whole lot of research, we ended up getting a couple more tanks to house our poor 1st batch of fish. Surprisingly we had a 75% survival rate from the first 23 we bought, and have since expanded to 9 tanks up and running, and plans for 3 more . We are presently the caretakers of many species of FW fish, my wife preferring her Cichlids, while my passion runs towards my Puffers (as you probably guessed from my name). I currently keep 4 species of FW puffer, Tetraocon travancoricus (Dwarfs), Colomesus asellus (South Americans), Tetraodon cutcutia (Emeralds), and Auriglobus modestus (Golden), and once I make room for a 125 gal tank I hope to pick up a nice little Fahaka puffer (Tetraodon lineatus). I also have a nice little collection of loaches shaping up, incl. Botia dario, Botia striata, Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, Pangio javanicus, Oreonectes sp., Misgurnus fossilis, and Botia lohachata. Other fish we keep incl. Guppies (Wild & Fancy), Cories, Catfish, Danios, Tetras, Mollies, Swordtails, Plecos, Gobies (or Gudgeon) and a few others that I can't think of at the moment. Well I guess thats it for my intro. Nice to meetchyall.
