Slough Shark
Thanks again for the compliments, I gave the Rainbow Shark to my cousin to feed to Piranhas because it was shredding up my Weather Loach's tail. Now I am down to the Weather Loaches and Pangios, two of each. I was surprised that I didn't see any Harlequin Rasboras or Amano Shrimp at BA's, so I came home with just a powerhead. I am looking at adding some Sewellia lineolata now too. The increase in Oxygen brought on growth of different types of algae which is pretty interesting. Here is the tank now: Close-up of the algae covered rubble: Hopefully I can get the S. lineolata before I have to move the tank to the other side of the room, we'll see! Doc_Polit
Beautiful tank, Taylor! You have a real talent for "natural" tank decoration. Nice work.

patrick
I love the algae growth, it makes it look very natural Below is a link for future inspiration. It's in Swedish I'm afraid but there are pictures and a movie clip at the bottom of the page. http://www.ciklider.se/artiklar/wl_stromvatten.shtml
dk77
Very cool looking tank slough shark, now that the algae has really taken hold it looks great!
Slough Shark
Thanks guys. Patrick, it is funny that you posted that. I was going to do something similar with this tank, but didn't think I would want to go with fast flow. Now that I am, I think I will have to go ahead with the project since I have to empty my tanks anyways to move it. Similar to this design: http://www.loaches.com/articles/river-tank-manifold-design That tank in your link is very beautiful, not too far off from the look that I want for my CA Biotope. Thanks again, Taylor
