Sam Chicklets
While I was feeding and doing water changes I noticed one of my discus looking a little rough. upon further inspection of the tank and the other discus I found 2 had paired off and are gaurding eggs. I will keep you updated.

firestorm
Good luck for next time. Congrats on them pairing off though Discus fry can be a challenge to raise, they can only stay with the parents for so long before they should be removed, then after that I hear they need many feedings in a day and plenty of water changes. firestorm
hi, I have few discus lay eggs but i never success. How hard is your water? pH and GH? sometimes the hardness could have something to do with it, other times it could be other fish or the parents eating the eggs. What other mates are with your discus? corrosionjerry
The eggs harden and the success rate goes away down if you dont have soft water and a PH of 6.5-7...
