Vallisneria
I need to replace the impeller in my AC 300. Does anyone know what stores sell them in Edmonton? I'm thinking big als will probably have them but I thought i'd ask if anywhere else sells them, preferably in the north or westends.
darkangel
I picked one up at Paradise pets last year. I think it was around $20.00. If I was'nt using my a/c 300, I would let you have the impeller.
Vallisneria
20$! Ouch, didn't think it would be that much. Thanks, I'll go check out paradise.
Sam Chicklets
Have you tried PJ's they used to carry them.
Vallisneria
No I hadn't tried pjs. I'd tried petsmart and aquarium enthusiasts(where I bought my mini impeller) but neither of the have them. So I wanted to ask before I drive around anymore. Leon71
Try PJ's at Londonderry. They usually have a lot of AquaClear parts.

I'll try paradise and pj's.
fairdeal
Val: Just a suggestion but I always replace the shaft too when I replace the impeller. No sense in getting one new piece to run on an old one. Down here the last time I did them (about 6 months ago) the cost was $14.99 for the impeller and $2.99 for the shaft. punman
I agree with fairdeal and did the same. Then I wondered if I should have just spent $40 and bought a whole new filter with sponges, etc.
Vallisneria
I picked up the impeller from paradise tonight, 18$! I didn't get the shaft as I think its ok. The filter is fairly new and the only reason the impeller broke is because I dropped it. So i think the shaft should be ok.
