lt1fj40
Does anyone know how he does this? Most of the time I see this with airstones but what would make something look like smoke? do they have fine airstones? Thanks! Rob.
Boom
I'd say it's just micro-bubbles. Very very fine bubbles. I imagine you could get some type of stone that produces them. Boom :boom:
Felix
I had a wooden airstone in the UK which produced very fine bubbles I did bin it after a while as it had the prepensity to float to the surface!! Also the fish were not keen on it and helped it free its self from where i had it. Not sure i think the fish looked that keen on the set up and for me thats whats really important. just my thougts Felix Edited June 23, 2009 by Felix
darkangel
Judging by the video, It looks like he is using an air stone and a fogger of some sort.

Crystal
I think those bubbles are too fine for a bubble-disk... Could it be several of the wooden airstones used together?
jvision
I'm thinking that it has an air pump feeding into a powerhead/pump of some sort. With the force that it's coming out, it definitely has a pump in there. By the looks of it, I'd say it's coming thru a Korillia/Tunse type powerhead. You may have gone to petsmart in the wrong country, but they do let you order off of the US website and ship to Canada. The ones I saw in th US looked quite a bit differnt, but the store demo did not have that type of output. The US version has a light that changes through 7 colours.
