FishyFishy!
So a fellow co-worker was telling me all about his pet octopus! No idea if he was bs'ing me or not. Can you get Octopus anywhere??? Has anyone ever kept one? If this is true where can I purchase one? I would love to start up an octopus tank! jvision
You'll want to be pretty adept in SW husbandry before you try an Octopus. THey can, and often are kept, and can be purchased from time to time at most stores that carry SW fish.
bigfishal
Ocean City on 16th has them most of the time. But yea I would recommend that you obtain a bit of saltwater experience before keeping one as they are quite though for a beginner.

Wingin' It
Octopus' are VERY smart...they can get out of any little crevis/hole there is regardless of their size! I watched it on Discovery channel! LOL If you ever get bored, it's an interesting watch!
Michael Roth
Cephalopods: Octopuses and Cuttlefish for the Home Aquarium Lol, I have a picture published in that book... I had posted it on TONMO and was approached by the author. I got a copy of the book in return :> Octopi are amazing. They pretty much ruined fishkeeping for me... strauss
True, cover everything. I had an octo for about 6 months before I got sick of feeding it and not seeing it often so traded it away. It's cool at night but pretty inactive during day. Mine was a common $40. Regardless, was cool for the short time I had it.
