fishclubgirl
Fleshgear and myself are working on our HAP awards with the Calgary club. Myself, I'm finding it addictive and enjoy getting a new plant spotted. As someone who can't grow house plants, I can't believe that plants will grow for me!! So is anybody else doing it?? Baos
I used to pump my aquarium water into several layers of house plants and then back to the tank. As a result my aquarium water was pure and didn't require changing.

fishclubgirl
If you check out any of the aquarium clubs' websites, they generally will have a Horticulture and Breeders award program. Points are awarded for reproduction of both plants and fish. It's a good way to find out who's raising which species and you can get points for any species even guppies and duckweed. Kind of like Girl Guide badges(sorry Fleshgear!!).
