hustler Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2010 well the 5 foot sump i had on the 180 gallon had 5 baffels in it...... and honestly with the amount of water that moves through this sump i dont see any problems...... not to mention Im getting water flow from the top and side of the ceramics with the air stones..... hustler Posted October 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 I think my next addition to the mech side will be a UV and i would like to try my hand at building an acrylic custom sump with a bunch more baffels and WAY more bulkheads for various attachments I thought of after the sump was built lol..... Some one-way valves and tee off the pump for my moving bed filter. Which I'm cuurently running off an old powerhead. There's always something. If there isn't anything you'll create something.
