vince0
Hey folks, I'm thinking of converting my 55g into a tanganyikan tank with a few shellies and some small julies, but that would leave the top space of my tank unnoccupied. Would some of the smaller cyps or paracyps work with this setup? Or would anything else work better, keeping it a "biotope-ish" tank? Thanks Vince
Wingin' It
Yup...i've done that setup b4 and it looked gooooood. I miss it.
vince0
good to know... now to find a source for suitable cyps... i think thats gonna be harder than setting up the tank.
jvision
There are a few people around here that breed Cyps - try to find the C. utinda groups, as they're more common and don't get too big for a 55.
Doc_Polit
Definitely go for Cyps. Paracyps tend to like rockwork as well and may have conflict with your Julies. Good luck!
