JHG
I've been looking for saulosi for over a year and haven't been able to source any locally. I thought I had found a breeder in Southern Ontario, however his prolonged illness has delayed things. Does anyone know of a breeder/importer who can ship to Halifax? Thanks, J
Vallisneria
I think Nevchewy has been on a search for saulosi also. Might want to ask him if he has been able to find somewhere that has them.
thefishdude
I think he is getting them from Kyle (African Fever). Man if somebody could only get a breeding group together they might have a goldmine on their hands.... Nev! Vallisneria
Its hard to believe that everyone is having such a hard time finding saulosi. They are supposedly common I remember always seeing them availiable a coupel years ago. So how come now they are so hard to find.
dunl
Good one, Val, or the ones that were around two years ago....?
JHG
I haven't seen saulosi in Halifax in the two years since I've been back in Canada. We definitely have a much smaller city then Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, etc. Plus, saulosi just are as common as stated in an above post. I didn't see any when I was in Toronto this past April and I went to several stores, called lots of breeders and visited an auction. Conclusion: saulosi aren't common. African_Fever
The CRLCA had a bunch of WC's in for pretty cheap a while ago, something like $30 a fish.
JHG
I was just checking the CRLCA fish list but unfortunately it looks like they're all out. . I'm not particularly looking for WC but would still like some decent fish, i.e. G1/G2.
dunl
Let me check and get back to you....I might know someone in Ontario who would have good quality fish, although they wouldn't be F or G classed.......
