jamesbarr
hey, your tanks look good! I particularily like your moss! I had some piggy back into my tank with a clipping of anubias that a tank pal of mine gave me and I hope grows in nice like yours did on your wood. Bill Peyto says its a dandy! AJanzen
Just an update on the shrimp tank. Less than a month later and significant plant growth (also a ton of babies). Just an example of an easy setup on a 10G kit. Extra money spent on sponge filter and T5 bulbs that fit the hood. No CO2, although I'm sure that would make it significantly more impressive. Also, plant in front and to the left is just leftovers sent with shrimp from Jvision. Edited May 4, 2012 by AJanzen
The_Little_One
Do you only have a sponge filter running on that 75 gallon?
AJanzen
2 sponge filters actually, the other one's blocked by the light reflection. One is for a 30G the other for a 75G. I stopped running my biowheel when I had my first batch of platy fry and never went back. I've actually had virtually no issues with clamp fin and ich which plagued me for quite a while when running the biowheel.
