SilverWolf
I am picking up some egg crate ($12.50 for white vs $36.18 for silver for a sheet. I wasn't able to find black locally) to make a lid and can only find it in white or silver locally and I want to paint it black so it blends in nicer. Is there a safe paint I can use that will adhere to the plastic and stand up to the moisture? Thanks!
jvision
I've used Krylon Fusion on PVC that is in my tank w/o any issues with livestock.
SilverWolf
Thanks jvision! Can I find that at Home Depot too?
Chelsea716
I think you can buy that at the Micheals craft store. Near the paint section, there is a wall of spray paints.
jvision
Sorry about not responding. I picked mine up at Home Depot, but I think you can find it at most hardware stores
creekbottom
It's worth checking online to see if the big box store of your choice carries that line of paint. Not all of them do, I had to do some running around to find a can last time I was looking.
Cgy_Betta_Guy
I bought my cans from Canadian Tire.
octopusfilled
Sometimes you can find a few cans at Wal-Mart, but I think Hardware stores might have a better selection.. My local store didn't have any of the colors I needed, but.. I'm picky.
SilverWolf
Thanks guys! I'll take a look around when I can afford to buy. Just dropped a few pretty pennies on the car and need to rebuild my nest egg again!
