Will do.

I did found a couple of dead ones. I think the water temp got a little too cold...no heater just room temp and apt. was a little cold this morning.

Anyways...they are doing really well considering they only have a air pump and java moss. No filters...cant afford any right now. Just water change as much as possible.

UPDATE:

Bad news--> I saw a "couple" spawning in a tube...I thought it was my female with a bent spine because she was nowhere to be seen...oh no! I was going to pull the tube out and get her out since I do not want her breeding. i meant to take her out earlier and put her in my other tank to live out the rest of her life. Anyways as I was going to pull the tube, I noticed one dead fish...it was my deformed female. I felt bad because I should have pulled her out earlier. SHe was healthy other wise. She was near one of the pvc tubes...maybe a male tried to spawn with her and it was just too much for her.

GOOD NEWS---> they are still breeding like rabbits! I pulled a tube out and placed it in the fry tank to hatch...1 hour later babies. Now they are half the size of the fry gudgeons in there. The "bigger" fry are at the bottom and the new fry are at the top level. Once they get bigger they usually go down near the bottom to forage and hide.

If you set up a fry tank...i can give you some eggs and you can grow them yourself if you want. They are just breeding like crazy. I thought by limiting the "breeding pvc pipe" to two it will prevent others but no such luck...I saw one male digging a nice area with a female. Have not checked if they spawned though.

I guess its good live food for the rest of the crew.

let me think about that. I just might....I may be ending up (if all goes well) with honey gourami babies. Right now, I'm looking at possibly downsizing the cherry shrimp tank and using that for a fry tank. Interested in some cherry shirmp? lol. I do plan to give a couple to Rhonda. But other than that....if you want some let me know.

Well.....went out and picked up a couple little things. I have the 10 gallon set up again. <sigh> It's set up to be fry friendly, so I guess I have a 10 gallon fry tank now. Guess the cherry shrimp will stay for now. My husband is shaking his head....lol. So ya, I could sure try hatching some out, Or take some of the fry off your hands.
