Hahahaha...dang! There is a video going around where this guy in Texas is fishing on a lake and comes across a big mouth bass swollowing a similarly sized big mouth bass...he picks them up out of the water, and put them back in the lake and the both swim away! Guess it happens in nature too!

My son is so excited to bring his 'show' fish! LOL

I don't remember who sold them, but there were some at the CAS auction last month! Went pretty good too!

I saw some go through one of the ACE auctions...they went ok. Nothing outrageous. I think they went for under $10 though. I could be wrong though...I am getting older and my memory isn't always completely accurate...lol

I'm hoping to place the order by the end of this week so act fast!

Oooo...I may have to drop in to take a gander...(hahaha...I said that at the Innisfail livestock auction a few weeks ago and someone took me literal and thought I was there to buy a Goose!)

I bought some really awesome looking angels...freakin' amazing fins! They were practically flying out of the tanks! I think there were around 50 and by the time I got mine there were only 20ish left!

Percy is adorable! Fantastic tank! I also have pygmy cories..at night they even school! Luv 'em!

Ya, just me...I had some family hand pick me some PFRs, Rilis and Oranges back in December. I was planning on doing it again back in Feb. I think it was...with a group order, but the darn supplier was being a bully...I think he just thought he saw opportunity...I don't respond nicely to that way of business.

I got my most recent shrimp, the CBS, from the group order that Ron did last week. They reside with the PFRs in the Ebi, while the Orange reside in a 10 gallon with a bunch of Java moss...nothing fancy...just wanted them to breed fast and often! Oh and the PFRs and Orange (and Rili, just not in the pics yet) came direct from Bangkok, Thailand in December.

It's cause you're doing all this travelling...lol

I've done the 2L pop bottle and the recipe of sugar, yeast and water...no baking soda. I've never had it blow up on me. I never did use a diffuser, just hooked the airline into the intake of the HOB Filter.

You can always try plants...less expensive plants...lol Cichlids don't tend to touch Java Fern or Anubias 'cause they're typically tied to driftwood and apparently they taste bad. You might try other plants like Giant Vals or stick to plants that you don't mind keeping in pots (so that the fish don't dig them up).
