Nice shots. You can see them better if you click on them.

Good looking tank!

Very tempting sale. Is there any other aquarium stores around calgary having big boxing day sales?

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=239848 This is one site that I found. He goes through every part of the salt water system that you need to consider. One day I'll have one hopefully.

Great looking shots.

Amazing collection of rays and fish. Whats the new build going to look like?
-
Great looking tank. Personally I would take the right half of the center plant out and put in another tall plant beside it and a different one in the right corner.

So weird with that short body. How big is he now?
-
Great looking tank. What is the plant in the middle that is narrow, stringy with the bumps?

Nice picture. I like all the pearling.

It just seems to be a waste to have it bulbing off during the night. Even if you ran your lights for 12hrs a day and let the co2 escape for 12 hrs that would mean that by just shutting off the valve you would eccentially double how long each tank lasted.

I dont have a solenoid on my system and just manually turn it on an hour before the lights come on and turn it off 1 hour before the lights go out. I've forgot a few times to turn it off at night which usually doesn't make the fish to happy the next day. Since upgrading to from a 29g to 180g I'm planning on splitting the line and having 2 diffusers for the tank and would like to get a solenoid set-up so there is less to worry about. I have it running on 1 diffuser currently and when I go home for Christmas break I'll set-up the new system.

You can never have too many frontosa pictures. Nice looking fish.

Wow, I wish my non-rusty pictures looked as good as your rusty ones.

Nice looking fish.

Nice stingray. I've never really been a fan of aros but they are growing on me.

I got all my stuff from the local welding store. Total cost was maybe about $100 - $125 with the regulator and 10lb cylinder(smallest they had). Ran into a slight problem because the regulator couldn't maintain such a low pressure but a simple needle valve and its been up and running almost a year now.

Canisters are definetly the way to go. I have a fx5 on my 80g and a eheim 2026 on my 55g. Personally I prefer my eheims over the fx5s even though the flow is less. They are quieter and I haven't had any problems with them compared to the couple resealing problems on the fx5 when I took it apart to clean it. Both are great though and have been working for lots of aquarists. I recently read too that eheim is getting rid of the professional 2 series, not sure if that is realiable information though.

Very cool. I really like the L168.

Nice shots. Always wanted a group of frontosas, maybe one day.

I'm not sure how you have it set-up currently but you could try raising your intake higher up from the substrate and that would eliminate how much dirt it takes in.
