Is the light really hot? Is the water filled to close the top? Could the be breaking the water when at the top? If it's fin rot a quick course of kanaplex is my fav way to get rid of it

I have a new aro coming from dream fish in a couple weeks. I was wondering if anybody had a stable way of lowering the general hardness of our water? Plus I'd love to lower the ph a lil as well. I don't want to add chemicals all the time as this tank receives plenty of wcs. Any ideas? Has to keep the levels stable. I'm already going with a heavily driftwooded bottom. I already have peat in the canister filters. I also use a product called Amazonia which leaches all sorts of brown goodies in the tank. Not sure how effective it is. I'd love RO but seems like a lot of work and pricey

Cgy is a great city. 2 things I miss most about cgy are riverfront and pho hoai. Bonus they r within a stones throw of each other. It's a 1 2 stop every time I'm there

Np, i am always satisfied when I buy lids off aqua giant. There was a time that I was scared to buy a tank without a glass lid. Until I found aqua giant.

I just walk in and wait ten to fifteen mins. I'm sure he has lots of scrap pieces saying around for small tanks

Love matrix. It's in all my canisters. I generally don't waste space with carbon. I also use purigen, what it does besides change color I cannot say
