rudy
That is an awesome setup freshmike. Is that Rundlestone?
freshmike
I have no idea what kind of rock it is, but I have it in pretty much all of my tanks. Aside from the grow-outs of course. A guy from work gave me a bunch of it...and the rest is from Bragg Creek.

dunl
That tank is stock quite heavily with rock....I'm assuming that took care of any potential agression problems?
ace99
How to you catch the females when its time to strip the eggs. My tank has a lot of rocks and I almost always will need to remove rocks in order to catch the females. What a pain!!! Trying to catch them at night doesn't help either because there're already under the rocks.
RD.
Great looking tank. FYI - the rock is Limestone, easy to find in the west country, and helps buffer the PH. What size is that tank?
freshmike
It's a 45 gallon. I take the rocks out every week anyway for the cleaning, so when I am in, I just strip any of the females that are holding at that time. As for aggression.....still alot. You know dems. :P
Fin
WOW great looking rock work ! ! ! Sure would hate to have to take a couple of holding females out of that tank lots of grunt work taking those stones out ...Thats one of the reasons why i keep my rock work simple , so when its time to take the holding female out its less work
