TBL256
Hey there, Currently have a Fluval edge with a few guppies in it and was wondering if there are any beginner friendly plants that I could place in there? I currently have fake plants, but I would much rather get in to live plants if I can. The criteria I'm looking for is, beginner friendly, shorter plants (its not a big tank), low light if possible and has to work with my existing substrate (small pea sized gravel). Does this exist? or is it plastic/silk plants only for me? Anyway thanks for any help!
fleshgear
Cryptocorynes are great plants for what you want. They come in most shapes and sizes. And different colors. They grow slow so you won't have to do much trimming
fishclubgirl
Sagittarias are a nice short plant too and easy to grow!!

jvision
Echinodorus tenellus (Pygmy Chain Sword) and Cryptocoryne parva would be good choices, too. Along with the various mosses (Java, Christmas, Flame, etc.)
werner
You might also want to get rid of the crappy spotlight bulbs that came with it. These are much nicer.
