They had 3 bigger Acei that went for under 20 bucks
 Oh well; there's LOTS more where those came from.... Maybe they'll go for more next auction? :smokey:

And "FishieRuffio"'s fry list sounds awefully familiar! Neat forum!

I left before they were sold and was surprised to hea they only got 20$. They were beautiful. I hope mine grow up to have that nice of a purple/deep blue.

As for the petricolas there was some at big als but they were pretty expensive and only about 1". PJs on the southside had some for 14$ but i didn't really get a good look and i dont' shop there so i dont' know the quality of their fish.

I really like how your rocks and substrate turned out!!!

I'm pulling these from memory, but IIRC...

The rocks were from a landscaping place called Burnco Rock Products in the city...they were $0.19/lb (I bought 160lbs of rock!)

The sand is Target brand Pool Filter Sand - we had to call around to find it, and I can't remember the name of the store that we ended up at - I will ask the lady-friend when she gets back into town (they call her "the better half" for good reason - if it wasn't for her, I'm sure that my tank would be bare-bottomed and full of dead fish).

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! :D

Looks like 50 lbs. of substrate was enough, too.

Rob

Actually, we used two full bags of sand...so, 100lbs of substrate is in there

It was...interesting to rinse...to say the least.

And yeah, I think I'll pick up a background at some point in the next week. If only there were more hourse in a day.... :hey:
