freshmike
If you want just black.....why not try to just paint the back of the tank, can't get any blacker than that!

Guest peacockguy
I have a tank that i painted the glass black on three sides and it looks great. Just make sure u paint the outside. If u don't like the results u can always scrape the paint off with a razor blade. Freshmike isn't pullong your leg. Try it out , you will be happy with the results. rahim101
OR you could just get a black background from a pet store..I have seen them at Gold Aquariums as well as Petland....
Nandopsis
Some times they do not make them a certain size and have to improvise. Eg. my 165g 30" tall. I was looking for exactly that, a 30" black back ground w/ no luck.
rahim101
Get a larger one and cut it. It all works out in the end...
