mharding4
I have a 6.6 gallon with a 13 Watt incandescent bulb. is that considered low, medium or high lighting in terms of which plants to choose from. Does anyone have and recommendations as to certain kinds of plants that would do well in a setup like this?
jvision
Change it to a 13W flourescent bulb and you'd have 2wpg, which is low/medium light. With an incandescent, it's low/no light
The-Influence
I'd say high as a 6.6 gallon is not going to be very deep . What is the footprint of this tank ? Blake
Vallisneria
Yeah change it to a 13w CF screw in bulb and your good to grow most plants Incandescent bulbs are only really good at growing algae
Jayba
I do believe it's a Fluval edge tank. Well the 6.6 gallon version anyways. You could swap out the light sockets for mr16's and have halogen or LED bulbs that are way brighter. I just swapped out 26 pot lights in my house with LED's and need to rehome the old bulbs if anyone wants them. Lol.
