Molino
I just got this tank set up and am currently cycling it. Once it is ready I hope to put some juvenile Haps in it to grow out and then put in a larger tank that I hope to get within the next month or so. I bought a bunch of rock today... too much I think. They look so much smaller outside on the ground :bang1: Most of the rock I bought for my future 125 gallon tank. Some of the other stuff was for this tank. I initially put a lot more in this tank, but didn't like how it looked. I removed most of the rocks leaving just what you see now. I like the look myself, although it is a bit sparse. I usually like the plain and simple look. Let me know what you think.

johnsmith
I like the simple look. I think most haps would appreciate the open swimming space.
Molino
Thanks. I think I may leave it like this for awhile and see how I like it.

RD.
Very nice, and for juvie haps it should work very well.
Molino
Thanks for the comments. The rock look very similar to slate, although isn't as flat. They call it Rundle rock. It does have horizontal layers like slate, but doesn't seem to break into flat pieces so much.
HOSStile
Don't want to highjack your thread, but I would like to remind members that a friend of mine has tons of sandstone and rundlerock that he will pardon the puns, sell dirt cheap or at rock bottom prices. PM me if interested. I use rundle rock in most of my tanks, like the look and Molino, awesome tank
