Although that is a nice size tank i would say a footprint of atleast 6' X 2" would be a min for a arrowana. Keep that in mind when he gets larger, if you decide to get one.

So your tank had a catastrophic meltdown for some reason, but it's all back to normal after 2 days? Have you tested your water when you had the meltdown, or after?
