  1. Welcome! I love watching my tanks too. Love watching my betta swim around in the 5 gallon - he moves like a piece of silk in the wind
  2. Changed my opinion on fluval e heaters. First one wouldn't go back to a lower temp after treating tank to ick. Just took tank temp with the second one this morning to find it was 72 degrees instead of 78. Argh!

  5. I just bought a 200 W E Fluval - love it - it's so nice to have that digital display....
  6. My betta developed an S curve in his back that Pisces said itblooked like he had picked up a bacterial virus. He hung on for a few months poor little guy.

  13. I have a male betta in a 5 gallon nano tank and he made a huge bubble nest. In fact, I was worried it was a reaction to something in the tank but later thought, nah, it's just his bubble building....
  14. I wont trim until I get a solid green block and the poor little fish have their faces squished up to the glass. . Love the humor. I'm struggling to get my 29 g planted tank to look even 25% like that. Just need to find potassium sulfate as a last ingredient for PMDD and I hope to be off to the races....
  15. Found this site by accident - best accident I've ever had I live in NW Calgary and I have a 5 gallon nano Betta tank and a 29 gallon freshwater community tank. Looking forward to getting some expert tips...
