they are looking pretty sweet. Mine are doing well. still am unsure of sex. If I could find my camera I'd post a couple pics.

they are looking good. I still only have the one of the three you gave me, and he (or she) is getting close to a cm in length.

I thought that too about my koi angels.....went away for christmas, and I swear someone had put miracle grow for fish in my tank!! I guess when you see them every day you don't really notice. All your fish are looking good.

Actually it was more like my snail ate them.

They look really beautiful. I'll have to get some pics of mine, assuming my husband didn't steal the camera when he went to Vancouver.

My one I'm pretty sure is a female (the first one I got), the second one I suspect may be male (it's the one I rescued from the ones you bought.....he looked like crap, but now he's looking great).

They add some nice color to my tank. A little flash of blue every now and then. The only thing that's breeding for me right now is my honey gouramis, and my black molly. I can't quite tell if my hounduran's are male or female. I'm pretty sure the bluest one is a female, but not sure.

I would gladly take a few off your hands when they get big enough. The otos seem to be the only kind of fish my husband really likes. We only have three out of the five we had before, we lost two when my 35 gallon decided to pretend it was niagra falls.

Maybe they will spawn for you too. I love them.....Mine are quite blue looking right now. Hope the colors on your perk up, they'll be awesome.

Damn, I work there and I didn't even see them... Will have to make a note of seeing them when I go to work tomorrow morning. I have the other two that were with that pair.....they are doing well in my tank. They don't hang out together......but oh well.

I have six ......One common pleco named Horatio. One clown Pleco named Hamlet. And four Otocinclus named Bubba, Blotto 2, Auto Von Bismark, and That oto. Horatio is now about 10" Long.....I rescued him from my mom's tank ( a really bad set up......) when he was only four inches.

Trying to break down the husband's resistance to the idea of a crestie. He's allowed me to make a setup for them. I made a live plant set up, but It is without gecko....and probably won't have one in there for quite a while. So I have five live plants and a lil paper cut out of a crestie that I've named pablo.

Well she looked ready to burst. Kind like rectangular as opposed to round. LOL!! Now that I count, there may be more than forty babies. They all have the same coloring too. Peachy, with the back half marbled black. Of course this all happens right before I leave to go to Valleyview to visit my folks for a few days. Good thing I have an experienced pet sitter.

They get bigger.....around five inches i think....so i've read anyways. The two I have have colored up nicely.

I think Petland Red Deer still has two Honduran Red points. I bought two of them, and there were still two left. The two that are left have paired off from what I could tell.

Wow, I've never actually witnessed my big black balloon molly giving birth until now. It's cool!!! I lost track, but I estimate that she dropped about forty babies.....SO COOL!!!

mine are currently in bug terrariums i bought at the dollarama. Some (my favorites) are in my betta barracks (piece o crap made by hagen) in my 29 gallon tank.

I'm lucky, my friend will be looking after my zoo, and she has just as big a zoo at her place....plus she knows more about fish than I do.

most information I have found online has described breeding hermit crabs in captivity as pretty much impossible. It is still possible to have them breed and produce eggs....but nothing much beyond that. I just did a general search on the subject...and all sites seem to say the same thing.
